Markings: wings were kept clipped, had ID band on left foot
Additional: Healthy, 10 years old. At time of abduction Mickey
was wearing an ID band on left leg. Body size is considered small
for a blue and gold. His wings have always been kept clipped.
Prior to January 11, he had only two flight feathers (one on each
side) and the last couple of inches of these feathers have a ribbon
effect. His nails at time of abduction were very long. Words like
"hello" and "hola" are common to his vocabulary.
Frequently he says "hello" as a way of saying "thank
you" and uses"ha" when he wants a special treat
or when asked a question. He also whistles several ways, including
wolf whistle. His owner is devastated by his loss. Mickey has
been treated as a child, and is not a normal, caged bird. A large
reward is being offered for information leading to his return.
There will be no questions asked, and his owner is appealing to
everyone with compassion to help reunite Mickey with him. If you
believe that you may have seen Mickey or that you have info regarding
his abduction your contact and inquiry will be kept completely
confidential. Further discussion of Mickey's distinguishing characteristics
may take place at the time of contact.
