Sharp's custom western mule saddles are individually handcrafted by Master Saddlemaker Clay Sharp. When ordering a custom saddle we listen to your needs and desires for both you and your equine partner so we can build your custom saddle to fit those needs and desires. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder so if you choose a design from plain to fully stamped or tooled or somewhere in between the result is the custom mule saddle of your dreams. The craftsmanship and quality materials will also shine through no matter what style western saddle you choose. There are many custom saddle styles to choose from. The popular Wade saddles to lightweight trail saddles and everything in between. Sharp custom saddles are built for quality right here in the USA! NO outsourcing or assembly lines. We use Wickett & Craig leather made in the USA in our custom saddles and leather products. ALL our custom mule saddles are signed so we want it to be wonderful! Saddles in our gallery were made for someone and their equine partner but we can build you a saddle like it with YOUR personal touch. One size does NOT fit all, for either you or your equine partner. You wouldn't wear your neighbors cloths/shoes! We can help you with fit for whatever your riding discipline is and the needs of your mule. We are here to help you create the custom mule saddle of your dreams. Mule bars are NOT modified horse bars. For custom mule saddles you may be required to do a back tracing of your mule to determine degree, rock and twist to fit your mule, or the style mule, you generally ride. (It's easy to do). A wider gullet is NOT a silver bullet in fitting either horses or mules! Mules' physical differences insist on proper fitting gear! Our wait time is generally 3 months after receiving your deposit.
